About Me
Rosa has over 40 years’ experience in the beauty industry. ​At her tranquil home based beauty clinic in Beckenham, Rosa offers a wide variety of non-invasive skincare treatments and creates bespoke beauty solutions tailored to the needs of your skin.
​
Facials and helping clients manage skin issues are her passion. She’s a compulsive researcher and loves to read up on the latest developments and techniques.
​
Rosa stocks leading skincare retailers, such as Matis Paris, ALLSKIN | MED, Slow Ageing, Biretix and Heliocare. She works closely with these brands and receives regular training on their new treatments.
​
Away from the clinic, Rosa loves to be outdoors. She enjoys a long walk in the countryside, is a member of the National Trust and the Royal Horticultural Society. Rosa is a keen Pilates enthusiast.
​
She’s also an avid theatre goer and a big fan of eating out. In true Italian style, Rosa also loves to cook and to entertain friends and family at home.
The origin story
Rosa started her career in the beauty industry nearly 40 years ago when she found herself a Saturday job as the shampoo girl in her local hair and beauty salon in London.
​
She soon became far more interested in the beauty side and started to shadow the therapists- watching what they did and how they did it. Which meant that she effectively learnt the practical side of beauty while she was still at school.
​
Rosa attended beauty college in Islington where she trained and qualified as a beauty therapist. She continued to work in the salon where she had started as a Saturday girl, working her way up to manage the business until it was sold.
​Her next role was in a health club in Blackheath where she worked as a senior therapist part time whilst also starting to build her own business (and grow her family) from her home in Herne Hill.
​
BodySense Beauty Treatments soon took off to the point where Rosa was able to make it her full-time focus. And the rest, as they say, is history!
